The original "Desert Boot" was designed as a comfortable casual shoe that could withstand the harsh desert conditions. We think our version is just as suitable for strolling downtown as it is for the railing of your favorite bar. We've made ours just a bit taller than the classic, with five eyelets instead of two or three, giving an old standard a fresh twist. This model features a handcrafted "stitch-out" construction, which we combine with a TPR (thermo-plastic rubber) outsole—known for its grip, flexibility, and durability. As a nod to the original, we've given the outsole a crepe texture. In addition to classic suede (which we also hand-buff on the edges, toe, and heel), we also offer two buffalo leather versions: black and a bold "oxblood." Built on the Rambler last, the Grover features a strong, high-walled toe box that's both striking and comfortable.
